Essential Tips for Maintaining and Cleaning Cake Display Refrigerators
The display refrigerator may develop odors or stubborn stains if left unused for an extended period. Therefore, regular maintenance and cleaning of the display refrigerator are crucial. Today, I will explain how to perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the display refrigerator! For safety, the power supply to the cake refrigerator should be disconnected before cleaning and maintenance.
The importance of regular clearing
The cleaning frequency for the cake refrigerator is approximately once a month. It is important to note that over time, the cake refrigerator may emit unpleasant odors and even breed bacteria, so regular cleaning is essential.
Specific cleaning processes
Gently wipe the cake refrigerator with a soft cloth dipped in clean water or a food-safe detergent, then use clean water to remove the detergent. Do not use laundry detergent, abrasive powder, pumice powder, alkaline detergents, hot water, oil, or brushes to clean the cake refrigerator, as these cleaning agents may damage the exterior coating and interior plastic parts of the refrigerator. When the interior accessories of the refrigerator are dirty, they should be removed and cleaned with clean water or detergent, and the surfaces of electrical components should be wiped with a dry cloth. During the specific cleaning process, please note the following:
Cleaning the exterior and handles:
Use a slightly damp to clean the exterior of the display refrigerator, and use soft cloth to wipe the exterior and handles.
Cleaning the interior:
Before cleaning the interior, disconnect the power supply and remove the food from the refrigerated compartment. After cleaning the interior walls, wipe the interior of the display refrigerator with glycerin using a soft cloth, which will make future cleaning easier.
Cleaning accessories (shelves or pans):
Remove the internal accessories and clean them with clean water or detergent.
Use a vacuum cleaner or soft brush to clean the ventilation grilles at the back of the display refrigerator; do not use a wet cloth to avoid rust.
Caution on restarting the refrigerator
The cake refrigerator should not be turned on within five minutes of being disconnected, as this can reduce its service life. If the power plug is pulled out while the machine is running and then immediately reinserted, it may cause a load, making it difficult to start or even preventing it from starting.
Other maintenance tips:
The cake refrigerated refrigerator is equipped with a temperature controller in the electrical control box, which can be used to adjust the temperature inside the refrigerator (temperature adjustment should be performed by a professional, as improper settings may result in excessively high or low temperatures, or even compressor failure).
In case of frosting, the cake display refrigerator’s cooling capacity will decrease, therefore defrosting should be performed at regular intervals. The defrost frequency is generally set at 4, with a defrost time of 30 minutes. These settings are for reference only, and users should have a professional adjust them based on the specific environment.
Hot food should not be placed directly into the cake refrigerator; it should reach room temperature before being placed inside. Frozen food should ideally be transferred to the refrigerated compartment for thawing before consumption. Food in the freezer compartment should be packed in small plastic bags to freeze quickly, preventing dehydration and frost formation. The refrigerator should not be overloaded, and there should be a gap between the cake refrigerator and the wall to facilitate air circulation.
Tips of un-plugged cake display refrigerator
Additionally, when the cake refrigerator is not in use for an extended period, the power plug should be un-plugged, the interior of the refrigerator wiped clean, and the refrigerator left to dry thoroughly before closing the door.
